The Paola FFA Chapter has been around since 1938, 66 years later the Paola FFA Chapter is still striving to develop student's potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. Each year Paola participates in Agri-Business Management, Ag Mechanics, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Floriculture, Horse Evaluation, Job Interview, Land Judging, Livestock Evaluation, Meats Evaluation, Parliamentary Procedure and Speech Competitions. Our chapter prides itself in giving all of it's members the opportunity to participate and excel in an area of their choice. Courses offered in the Ag Department at Paola High School are Intro. to Ag, Ag Science II, Ag Science III, Ag Science IV, Animal Science, Horticulture, Ag Welding I, Ag Welding II and Ag Welding III. This prepares students to enter into a variety of fields in college or upon entering the workforce. Each year our students travel to the National FFA Convention and also visit numerous college campuses throughout the year including Kansas State, Ft. Scott Community College, Allen County Community College and NEO A&M.
