1974 marked the first year USD 288 Central Heights opened its' doors for a Vocational Agriculture program as it was called back then. Little did they know that 30 years later the program would still be flourishing and changing to meet
the new needs of today. Over the course of 30 years the program has undergone many changes and styles of classes being taught from AG I, II, III, and IV and shop to Animal Science, Vet Science, Horticulture, Introduction to Agriculture, Ag Busisness, Plant and Soil Science Welding, and Ag Mechanics. These new classes offered to Central Heights Ag Education students are to equip students with the essential skills needed to endure the everchanging local, state, national, and international agriculture needs of tomorrow.
