New Five-Star Sponsor to Support Leadership Development, State FFA Convention, and More

MANHATTAN, Kan. (October 2, 2007) - ICM, Inc., the nation's leading authority and advocate for the ethanol industry, today announced it will donate to the Kansas FFA Foundation to support various leadership and skill development programs, state FFA convention, and more as the foundation's fifth five-star sponsor.

With the donation, ICM will become the title sponsor of the 80th State FFA Convention in Manhattan, Kan., next spring, and the sole sponsor of the Agricultural Issues Career Development Event, which encourages students to thoroughly explore agricultural issues. ICM will also become the sole sponsor of the State Star in Agribusiness award, in addition to sponsoring the State Office Leadership Program and Leader Lab, a two-day personal development conference for high school students.

Dave Vander Griend, ICM president and CEO, said supporting the Kansas FFA Foundation makes sense because the two organizations share a common goal - sustaining and enhancing the agricultural industry and its future.
