Blue Ox
Sturdy! Larger than life! Both describe the Blue Ox (409-09HP67). It has an aura of being solidly built, ready to last a lifetime, larger on the interior than is imaginable, and legendary in appeal. The combination of brick, wood, and pillars for the covered porch provides good curb appeal. The Blue Ox has 1,339 square feet of usable open space, displaying innovative ideas. Entry through the oval glassed door places you facing the open living room, the center of the wheel for this unique home. Sliding doors provide extra light, along with access to a large patio. Many restful hours could be spent here; contemplating what "big" adventure might be next. The dining room and kitchen are facing the front porch with an enormous window to provide light and a clear view of the property front. The corner kitchen with its window over the sink makes the preparation of those family meals an easy task to perform. The pantry provides extra staples for big family meals. The two bedrooms share a bath with a tub and single sink. Large windows to allow extra light to pour in are on one wall, while convenient spacious wall closets for each room are located on another wall. The master suite, located across the home from the other two bedrooms, is brightened by corner windows and a well thought out bath. One door separates the bath from the main suite while a pocket door separates the bath and the walk-in closet, handy for dressing once one has removed the dirt of the day. A linen closet is located outside the master suite, around the corner from the utility/mud room. When the family comes in wet, this mudroom is ideal. A bench for removing shoes and muddy clothes, a shelf for extra sets of clothes, and a deep sink for cleaning up are all available. The uniquely shaped corner storage area, which houses the water heater, could also become a pantry. Alternatively, it could be storage for dangerous household items that need to be kept up high and out of reach or as a broom closet for storing the vacuum cleaner, brooms, mops, etc. The sink has a large folding area between it and washer/dryer. Through the utility is the spacious garage, with depth that would allow a storage area or a workbench. Windows provide extra light to work on cars or just to putter around.
