Beyond crop insurance: New weather coverage solutions

Silveus Insurance and WeatherBill have partnered to create a new form of weather coverage designed to protect growers from weather that can diminish the value of crops. This coverage is customized based on location and individual grower needs through simple contracts that pay out based on weather station measurements. Growers can also purchase supplemental coverage at any time to protect specific portions of the crop cycle such as planting, pollination or harvest.
