MULTI-USE TRAILER—New from Owen Industries and distributed by Simonsen Industries is the Tailer—a multi-use, 40-foot, aluminum Neville grain trailer that has been retrofitted. Its new delivery auger system and patented trap assembly allow for unrestricted pit unloading or the use of the unloading auger system. The SandMaster can create sandbags with nearly any material, wet or dry, as long as it can fit through the apertures on the implement. The SandMaster 20 attaches to most skid steers and can make 4,800 sandbags in 8 hours. The SandMaster 26 and 26E are used with front end loaders or excavators and can produce 6,240 bags in 8 hours. Updated skid loaders debut
Gehl recently introduced the 4640E and 5240E Power2 skid loaders. These updated models are equipped with a new 68 horsepower (51 kW) Yanmar Interim Tier-IV diesel engine that produces up to 180 ft.-lbs. (244.2 Nm) of torque. This provides the power operators need to get hard work done quickly and efficiently.
The 4640E and 5240E Power2 skid loaders pack all this power into the same compact package measuring only 59.7 inches with the optional offset tire package. Despite its narrow width, the 5240E Power2 skid loader can lift 2050 pounds at over 121 inches when equipped with 12.00 tires and optional counterweight.

New herbicide formulation introduced
NovaSource launched Sinbar WDG (water dispersible granule) agricultural herbicide.
The WDG formulation replaces Sinbar WP (wettable powder) in the United States and Canada and represents the latest formulation enhancement from NovaSource, a business unit of Tessenderlo Kerley Inc., (TKI). The free-flowing, water dispersible granules are virtually dust-free, making the WDG formulation easier to handle and measure than the WP formulation.
The product mixes easily and provides improved dispersion in the spray tank.
Sinbar is a Group 5 pre-emergence herbicide that controls more than 60 broadleaf weeds. The product is labeled for use in a variety of specialty crops including apples, peaches, blueberries, mint, watermelon, strawberries and alfalfa and is effective at controlling several species of weeds that are exhibiting herbicide resistance in certain geographic areas.
NovaSource is committed to applying enhanced formulation technology to its herbicide products that can provide an alternative mode of action for the management of herbicide resistant weeds.
