The Kubota TE4052T rotary tedder is designed to optimize performance for producing dry hay. The four rotors and wide overlap ensure complete pick-up of the hay and equal distribution over the entire 17-foot, 1-inch working width. The rotors are driven by a low-maintenance gearbox with one grease point. The gearbox is mounted directly to the frame to provide full support across the tedder. The pull-type design with a low weight of 904 pounds is ideal for low horsepower tractors or on hilly terrain. The tines are made of 9-millimeter spring steel for added strength when tedding large quantities. For more information, see a dealer or visit www.kubota.com.
Pivot irrigation maker eliminates copper
Copper wire is being stolen from electrically powered pivot systems worldwide, but T-L Irrigation Co.’s hydrostatically powered pivot systems can be designed with no copper wire to steal, eliminating the problem.
The design of a copper wire free T-L irrigation system, made in Hastings, Nebraska, can mean saving thousands of dollars from theft and damages that result from conventionally designed center-pivot sprinkler systems. Some pivot irrigators have reported being hit by thieves and vandals multiple times.
