Eco friendly solution for sustainable ag

A system solution, designed to reduce dependence on the intensive use of inputs such as water, fertilizers and pesticides is a technology pioneered by Sequoia Bio Solutions, located in Pune, India, and distributed by Terawet Green Technologies (TGT) based in San Diego, California.

It recreates the symbiotic relationship between the farmer and his soil, resulting in reduced dependence on chemicals by replenishing overused and depleted soils with a multitude of beneficial microbes and fungi.

These microbes improve soil texture and profile by agglomeration of soil particles thereby increasing aeration and water holding capacity of the soil. This in turn facilitates root growth and results in healthier plants which appear better able to withstand stress caused by drought, pests and disease.

This more sustainable and environmental path named the STEP System (Structured Treatment for Enhanced Productivity) has been extensively field tested and proven over the last several years by Sequoia Bio Solutions. The use of the STEP System has resulted in substantial savings in production costs while simultaneously improving yields.

Company unveils catalog app for Apples, Androids

Ag Growth International, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is offering an AGI Catalog app for iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

In fall 2013, the AGI website was streamlined and given a fresh look, while introducing the addition of the entire collection of AGI brand products. In 2014, AGI announced a rebranding initiative that ensures all divisions and brands are linked to the parent umbrella of AGI with a consistent and familiar aesthetic feel while maintaining the historical value the individual brands were built upon.

The AGI Catalog app is another tool for AGI customers and stakeholders to reference. AGI’s industry leading brands include: Batco, Wheatheart, Westfield, Grain Guard, Hi Roller, Twister, Union Iron, HSI, Applegate, Mepu, Tramco, Airlanco and Rem. The app mirrors the AGI website, offering complete product lines in one centralized place where users can search any product information, photos, specs or manuals.
