Case IH is rolling out a True-Tandem vertical tillage tool for use beginning in the spring of 2015. The blades level the soil by tossing it up and laterally away from the blades. The frame design, along with walking tandem wheels, pulls evenly through the field, allowing faster speeds for greater productivity. A hydraulic down pressure system on the 335 VT rolling rear basket gives farmers added control from the cab. A double rolling basket option on the True-Tandem 335 VT is available to further condition the soil. The rear baskets use Case IH’s double-edge bar. The 335 will be available in 22-, 25-, 28-, 31- and 34-foot working widths. For more information, see a dealer or visit www.caseih.com.

RhinoGator, Gothenburg, Nebraska, has announced a 14.9 x 24 version of its no-flat pivot tire. Features include a lower tread profile, reinforced center rib and wide tread lugs. Built for a 10 x 24 rim, the poly tire will increase flotation in light or heavy soils and on any brand of pivot. The RhinoGator is guaranteed to never go flat. Constructed of high-density composite plastic resins (including corn-based plastic), the tires are engineered for the rugged conditions of pivot irrigation. The high-traction, nondirectional tread design provides optimum performance regardless of pivot direction. The sturdy center rib and large anti-slip plate provide overall integrity, reliability and strength. For more information, see a dealer or visit www.RhinoGator.com.

Combine manufacturer touts diagnostic service

Gleaner, a transverse rotary combine brand from AGCO Corporation, has introduced the GleanerCare uptime assurance program for all Gleaner S8 Super Series combines.

GleanerCare is an optional program that provides maximum uptime assurance during harvest to farmers who purchase a Gleaner S8 Super Series combine from a GleanerCare dealer.

GleanerCare provides farmers with a 24/7 access to dealer service diagnosis and parts assessment with fast diagnosis and service. A free loaner is provided if a GleanerCare-covered combine cannot be repaired within 24 hours of diagnosis The goal of the program is to provide peace of mind to farmers who purchase Gleaner S8 Super Series combines, including the first Class 8 transverse rotary combine, which was introduced in fall 2013.

GleanerCare advocates support each GleanerCare farmer’s interests around the clock. These advocates have 24-hour access to Gleaner technical support and parts inventories to help them resolve issues quickly. To expedite issue diagnosis, Gleaner technicians can access and evaluate S8 Series combines remotely through AgCommand telemetry.

Farmers will have the assurance that their combine will be fixed, no matter the time of day. Farmers gain not only access to dealers and timely diagnosis but also a promise GleanerCare dealers will stock at least 75 percent of recommended S8 Series parts. If a needed part is not in stock, the parts team will locate it at the nearest dealership or AGCO parts distribution center and arrange expedited delivery at no charge to the farmer. GleanerCare farmers also receive a Parts-on-Demand starter kit with AGCO parts for common maintenance items.

Firm launches platform to track insecticide technologies

Windsor, Colorado-based Innvictis Crop Care, LLC, has launched EndurX this year and was developed to improve the performance of key insecticide technologies.

EndurX Technology is a patented technology platform that improves the activity and performance of contact pesticides. EndurX is premixed with key active ingredients where the two molecules attach to each other. When mixed with water and sprayed in crop, the EndurX escorts the active ingredient to the leading edge of the spray droplet. Upon hitting the leaf surface, the droplet rapidly spreads and immediately penetrates the leaf where more active ingredient is at the target interface and attacks the target site much quicker.

When contact is made with the insect, a higher dosage is delivered and quicker knockdown and control is achieved. EndurX will also provide greater translaminar leaf penetration, which protects the pesticide from drying and being washed off the leaf surface. The pesticide stays more active and available, improving performance and mitigating loss to environmental exposure through evaporation and runoff.

In 2014, EndurX will be available in Reveal EndurX, a premix of bifenthrin and EndurX. Reveal EndurX matches the broad spectrum, long lasting active ingredient bifenthrin with its ideal partner—EndurX Technology. For more information, see a representative or visit www.innvictis.com.
