WEATHERPROOFING—Landoll Corporation now offers the 2400 Series Weatherproofer I tillage tool, available in six- through 13-shank models for a total of five sizes. The machine has a convenient single front-mounted depth control crank so producers can pull into the field and with one control set the machine to disc and deep till the soil in one pass. This uniformly mixes residue and penetrates the compaction zone for enhanced water intake and root growth. Gangs are fixed on a 15-degree angle. The 1/4-inch thick, 24- or 26-inch discs are also set on a narrow 10.5-inch spacing to quickly resize and mix tough residue. For more information, call 785-738-6613, or visit www.landoll.com.
TEMPORARY FENCING HELP—The PolyFence Wizard from Wendrick Tools helps ranchers put up temporary fencing for cell grazing. It uses an angle iron frame with an expanded metal bottom, which forms a tray in front of an ATV’s handlebars. It also has tubing mounts for commercial or after-market wire spools. There’s also room in the racks in front of the tray for 52 tread-in-posts. The operator sets the first post and attaches the polywire from the dispensing spool, then drives on to the next post spot. The post can be placed against the ground and driven in with the driver’s left foot without the driver leaving the ATV, and the wire attached to the post. The operator can use a cordless drill motor on the take up spool to reel the wire back in in a matter of minutes. For more information, call 620-222-4708 or visit www.wendricktools.com.
