Traditional Sedona has special features

The Sedona has a very traditional look to it. It has a covered porch with a railing, split rooflines, arched windows with shutters, and brick accents. The impression of this home is one of being solid, homey, yet filled with tradition and history.

The entry opens into a hall area with the dining room on the immediate left, stairs to the second floor, just beyond, and ultimately the vaulted great room straight ahead. Large and accented is a slightly sloping ceiling. The great room is the gathering room for family meetings, entertainingr guests, or those restful evenings enjoying the fireplace on the rear wall. This useful room is the center hub of the home.

The entire right side of the main floor is the master suite. The main suite is vaulted. The master bath is divided into sections. The first set of doors separates double sinks from the spa tub with the use of a pocket door. There is a large window over the spa tub, providing extra light and a shelf to hold knickknacks and decorative items. Straight beyond this room is the door to the shower and stool. To the left is the door to the huge walk-in closet, handy for dressing once a shower or bath has been taken.

Convenient to the balance of the main floor is another bathroom. It sets back into the master suite area, with access from the main part of the home. This half-bath has a linen closet along with a walk-in coat closet.

The left side of the main floor is the kitchen, nook and utility room, along with a side entrance garage. The nook in the rear has patio doors that open to the backyard and an archway from the great room. The circular kitchen is very open to the nook area, with an eating bar on the nook side of the counter. The pantry and refrigerator are on the wall adjacent to the dining room.

Easy access has been given to the dining room. There is an archway off the entry, as well as a door off the great room. While the kitchen is not visible from the dining room, the food is only a few steps away.

Contained in the rear corner of the garage is an inside utility room, with the washer/dryer and a sink. Counterspace for folding clothes and a rear entry closet is part of this area, also. The door to the garage opens into a storage area. The two-car garage opens on the side instead of the end for a semi-circular driveway.

The upstairs of this home has two more bedrooms and a large unfinished storage area. Each bedroom is large and has a uniquely shaped large wall closet. A full bath with a tub is located between bedroom 2 and the unfinished storage room. A linen closet for the bedrooms is located in the hall across from bedroom 2.
