Santara's special features make it a keeper

Looking for a beautiful ranch home that has a covered porch encircling the entire perimeter? Then consider the many eye-catching features of the Santara (501-24). Half-moon windows, rooflines, and brick on the facade truly make this home beautiful. The three-car garage faces the left side and has a single door and a double door. This home was designed to be built on a back sloping lot, as there is an unfinished basement of 2,355 square feet beneath.

Opening the door to the Santara is breath-taking. The great room is completely open from the front of the home to the dining room in the rear. The entire room is vaulted. Windows line the front of the great room and a fireplace is tucked against a wall halfway down on the left.

Off the great room to the left through French doors is an office. It has bay windows in the front and door that opens to the side porch, ideal for having clients come in that way and not through the home. Four skylights in this room provide sunlight during the day to give the room warmth.

The master suite is behind the office and a pocket door makes the bathroom accessible. The main part of the suite is vaulted and has patio doors to the porch. An elongated walk-in closet is adjacent to the master bathroom. A spa tub and shower are on the left and dual sinks with a private stall are on the right along with a linen closet.

At the rear of the garage is a second bedroom. It has sliding doors that open onto the porch and has its own private half bath and corner walk-in closet. A pocket door on each side of the tub room allows access from bedroom two as well as from the main hall. A half bath faces the main part of the home. Beyond the door to the garage is the utility room. It contains a large pantry, counter space for folding clothes and the washer/dryer. Just outside the utility room is the stairs to the unfinished basement.

The kitchen of the Santara is very large and open. The range and oven with a microwave over is entered in a long counter along the outside wall. An open counter sticks out towards the dining room and has a built-in dishwasher, dual sinks, and a refrigerator incorporated in it. In the middle of the kitchen is a work island. The nook facing the backyard has windows on two sides and patio doors on one side.
