Mansfield's design is far from traditional

Brick accents around decorative windows provide the spacious Mansfield (D1539) with a look of grandeur. This home is reminiscent of the homes of American ancestors and provides the modern family with a classic traditional look. However, the inside of the Mansfield is far from traditional. Inside this home are two bedrooms, formal and informal areas, along with a unique garage.

The pillared porch leads into the entry, with a full view of the vaulted great room. To the right of the entry is a formal vaulted living room, accented with a half round window that allows light to pour over the room. This room is set to be an optional bedroom three if needed. Opposite the living room is the vaulted formal dining area accented with a tall square window and a built-in hutch on one wall.

A vaulted hall between the kitchen and the dining area provides easy access to the utility room and ultimately to the garage. Ever wished you could have easy access to the backyard without having to try to squeeze between the fence and the house with your car or tractor? This garage has a tandem drive through. It is a two-car garage in front with a one-car garage door exit in the rear, spacious enough for three cars.

Back inside, the kitchen is U-shaped, with an eating bar facing the nook area. There is a built-in desk and pantry. The nook faces the back yard with large transom windows for excellent light and a great feel of openness, especially with the vaulted ceiling.

The great room is large and spacious with a fireplace centered on the rear wall. On each side of the fireplace are large windows, overlooking the backyard. The great room has shelves along the front wall, ideal as a bookcase or for displaying the family heirlooms. Stairs are in the corner of the great room to an optional basement, should one be desired.

As the Mansfield contains only two bedrooms, it is ideal for the new family or for empty nesters. The master suite has two large walk-in closets, a huge bathroom with a corner spa tub, his-and-her sinks, a shower, and a large skylight overhead. Beyond the master suite, the second bedroom has a wall closet, a linen closet in the hall, and easy access to the main bathroom
