Kenton perfect for first time homeowners

Kenton (D6734) is a contemporary farmhouse with three dormers and shutters on the windows is the perfect home for first time homeowners. It has 1,497 square feet of living space with an optional basement and 820 square feet of unfinished storage that could eventually be more usable bedroom space if needed.

Crossing the covered porch, the entry is sectioned off from the rest of the home and has a coat closet on the left. Once past this foyer, there are two bedrooms on the left. Each has large windows facing the front, and one has a corner walk-in closet while the other has a wall closet. Opposite of the bedrooms is a full bath with a tub and the stairs to the optional basement.

The family room is large with a fireplace flanked by two windows on the left side of the room. The rear wall is lined with three large windows, bathing the room in sunlight. Adjacent is the formal dining room. It has bay windows, making a bright spot for reading the paper and drinking morning coffee.

The "C" shaped kitchen has an eating bar facing the dining room, dual sinks with a window over, and a pantry next to the refrigerator. The washer and dryer are tucked away around the corner behind bi-fold doors.

The right side of the Kenton is dedicated to the master suite in the rear and the garage in the front. The master suite has a 10-foot coffered ceiling with a walk-in closet in the rear. Adjacent to the closet is a full bath with a single sink and a tub. The 2-car garage is large and has two doors, one opening into the home and one going to the side yard.

This home has a second floor that is unfinished. There are two storage areas. One only has one window where the other one has the three dormers as well as a window on the left side.
