Details fill Jennys Brook inside, out

Adding special touches to a home such as rock cornices, decorative railings on the covered porch, extended rooflines, and even the shape of the porch pillars can add eye appeal to that home. The Jennys Brook (D8016) has all these features outside and many more great features inside.

The entry foyer faces the great room with the open dining room on the left. The dining room has 9-foot ceilings and large windows overlooking the front yard. Separating the dining room from the great room are the stairs to the unfinished basement.

The great room has 10-foot ceilings and large fireplace on the rear wall. Windows surround the fireplace and allow sunlight to burst into the room. The great room is adjacent to the kitchen and the nook. The nook has bay windows and a door that opens onto the deck in the rear.

The kitchen is two L's inverted opposite each other. One "L" has the refrigerator and the range and oven, while the other "L" has a corner pantry and dual sinks setting at an angle. An eating bar faces the nook, good for those times when the kids are in a hurry to get breakfast and head to school.

The master suite is on the left side of the home, separated from the other two bedrooms on the right. Bedrooms two and three each have wall closets and large windows on the end. A full bath with a tub and a single sink is situated between the two rooms.

The master suite is large with windows overlooking the backyard. The master bath is designed slightly different from most master baths. It has "his and her" sinks with an oversized tub and shower in one area, with toilet totally separate, as is the walk-in closet.

Adjacent to the master suite is the utility room. It has a door that opens into the two-car garage, making it easy for unloading groceries.
