Accents make Elmwood stand out from the crowd

This ranch styled home has broken with tradition and has brick on the outside. The Elmwood (500-19) has a large dormer over the den and has a half-moon window for looks and for light. To accent this half moon window, a half moon louver has been placed over the two garage doors.

Entering the Elmwood treats one to the feeling of open spaces and gracious living. The kitchen and nook are in the front corner, and the balance of the area is the long and wide vaulted living room. A corner gas fireplace is in the rear. The only other outstanding part to the living room is the half wall capped with wood trim that protects the stairs to the unfinished basement of 2,154 square feet.

The kitchen is to the right of the front door with the eating bar sticking out from the walk-in corner pantry. The microwave and refrigerator run parallel to the range and oven and dishwasher. At an angle is the dual sinks with a large window over providing a view of the front yard and bathing the room in light. The nook is across the face with a door that opens into the two-car garage.

Behind a pocket door is the utility room with the washer/dryer on the left and the sink on the right. Conveniently adjacent are the two bedrooms and the full bath. Each bedroom has a wall closet and windows to bring the sunshine inside. The bath has a tub and single sink.

On the left side of the front door is a vaulted den. This vaulted room has the series of bay windows and also has the dormer overhead. There is a slope to the ceiling that adds a special touch and feel to the room.

The balance of the left side of the Elmwood is the master suite. The main suite is almost as deep as the living room and nearly as wide. It is so spacious and open and would be a pleasure to decorate. It has a long walk-in closet with a full bath beside. The dual sinks and the oversized tub are open to the main suite while the shower and toilet are behind a pocket door.

This home is so open and inviting. The 2,363 square feet of living space is dedicated to making a family feel there is plenty of space for everyone.
