Elegant Dykstra would make any family happy

The Dykstra (405-11) is a very elegant looking home of 2,350 square feet. The facade has numerous windows, varied rooflines acting as accents, and an elongated two-car garage facing the street. Brick has been used to compliment the wood siding and shake roof.

On each side of the covered porch are large planters. A long window is beside the front door, which opens into the formal living room. The center of the Dykstra is all vaulted. The vaulted living room, while open to the other rooms, would be ideal for formal entertaining. It has windows on the front and side that bathe the room in natural sunlight.

On the right of the front door is the formal vaulted dining room with one large window. It is wide open to the kitchen and the family room. At the doorway to the kitchen is a large walk-in pantry. A long island in the middle of the kitchen had a long eating bar, dishwasher and sink in it. Beyond the kitchen is a vaulted nook that has patio doors going into a fully enclosed sunroom, wonderful for those evenings of enjoying the outdoors without the bugs. Off the sunroom is a deck.

There is a fireplace in the front corner of the vaulted family room. The master suite opens off the family room. Down the outside of the suite is the master bath. It has an elongated walk-in closet, dual sinks with a skylight overhead, and an oversized shower beyond.

The left side of the Dykstra has the other two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a wall closet, large windows, and shared linen closets. The full bath is very open with a tub in the end and two sinks down one side.

Off the hall is the long utility room. It has folding counters, a storage closet, and a sink. If a basement were needed, the stairs would be located in this area. There is a door that opens into the storage area of the garage.

The Dykstra would make any family happy with its open, spacious interior, and its beautiful exterior.
