Creighton easily has curb appeal

Attractive columns, an angled garage and a stucco veneer dignify this eye-catching one-story home. Large windows provide bright well-lit rooms inside and a great look outside. The colonial facade of the porch makes a grand entrance to the lovely Creighton (D2408).

The entry of this 2,057 square foot home faces the long vaulted Great Room. This room is the center of the home with the kitchen on the left and sleeping areas on the right. Between the Great Room and kitchen is an open fireplace with an entertainment center on the same wall. The kitchen has an informal nook at the rear for those family breakfasts. There is also an eating bar for snack time with the kids. A huge pantry is in one corner and a smaller storage closet is at the end of the entertainment center.

The stairs to the basement and the utility are tucked neatly into the corner with access to the garage, which is set at an angle to make the home more useable on narrow lots. Archways and a coffered vault grace the formal dining room, complimented by large windows, which bathe the room with light.

Off the entry hallway is bedroom two/den. Optional French doors would make an elegant entry to an office or a bedroom. A large window seat provides an ideal area for studying or reading and the wall closet is large enough to store supplies, if needed for an office. Next door, bedroom three is large and well lit from the windows that grace the front of the home. Conveniently placed, the bathroom and the linen closet are easily accessible to the rest of the home for guests.

The master suite is large and has extra space to indulge the occupants with a sitting or a reading area. Large windows provide extra light, while the covered vaulted porch beckons one to relax. A large spa tub, shower, his-and-her sinks with a vanity and an enormous walk-in closet complete the amenities of this fabulous suite.
