Calverton has many special features

With shingles to accent the facade, the Calverton (D8530) has the country farmhouse look. It has 1,195 square feet of open living space. There is an optional basement of the same square footage. The chimney on the left has a wood covering and there is a covered porch, all giving this single story, two-car garage home eye appeal from the street.

The openness of the floor plan for the Calverton is obvious as one enters the home. There is a large family room on the left with the fireplace on the side wall. Beyond the fireplace is the dining room and kitchen. Large windows accent both the family room and the dining area.

A rear kitchen is in a 'C' shape with an eating bar on one end and dual sinks in the middle. On the wall opposite are the refrigerator and the pantry. This arrangement for the kitchen is ideal for family gatherings as it allows the 'cooks' to participate in conversation while cooking the dinner.

Adjacent to the utility room is a full bath with a single sink and a tub, convenient to the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a long wall closet and all bedrooms share a linen closet in the hall.

Large and open describe the master suite. There is a corner walk-in closet just inside the door a big window facing the backyard, which bathes the room in sunlight. The master bath has a tub and one sink.

The overall layout of this home is ideal for empty nesters or for a family just starting out. There is the ability to enlarge if the basement is used. This could give more bedrooms or a recreation room, or even lots more storage and shop for Dad and a craft area for Mom.
