Bridgeport ideal for a large acreage

A beautifully traditional ranch/farmhouse, the Bridgeport (D2460) has a front covered porch with numerous dormers as accents. It is a large four bedroom, three-car home ideal for the large acreage setting.

The entry to the Bridgeport opens facing the staircase with the dining room on the right and living room on the left. Large windows face the porch in the dining room that includes a built-in hutch. The living room has built-in bookshelves.

The master suite has a cathedral ceiling with a door opening onto the porch. The master bath is accessed through the walk-in closet and a wall closet. The bath has a large spa tub with his and her sinks, along with a shower.

The large great room has 10-foot ceilings with a fireplace on the left side, surrounded by bookshelves. There are three windows facing the backyard. Adjacent to the great room is the bayed nook, lined with windows for natural light. A door opens into the backyard.

The kitchen is large with a wall pantry and an island. The kitchen sink has a window over it. Off the kitchen is a half bath. Just beyond the kitchen is the utility room with a door that opens into the large garage.

Upstairs are three bedrooms and two baths. Each bedroom has a wall closet and access to a private bath. Bedrooms two and three both have dormers that bathe the room in light, giving the effect of open space. Bedroom three and four share a full bath with a tub and dual sinks, while bedroom two has a private bath with a shower. This would make a great guest room or an in-law suite. The hallway contains a large linen closet and a gallery for showing off the kids' sports trophies. The middle dormer in the front has a planter underneath and is over the entry below.

This home would be great for the large family that needs lots of space. It has 2,695 square feet of living space along with an unfinished basement of 1,881 square feet. The potential for a recreation room or a large family room, or even an exercise room is there as well as other bedrooms or storage.
