Farm Survey

Nostalgic Summerfield 1 warm and open

Remember those summer days spent on the farm with your grandparents in their big old farmhouse. The Summerfield 1 (D6712) brings back those nostalgic memories. It is a large, two-story farmhouse with a covered porch across the front, great for sitting and swinging on those warm summer nights. The windows are beautiful with their panes and the arch in the dormer.

The entry to the Summerfield 1 faces the dining/hearth room. To the right is a den with a window seat surrounded by bookshelves. The fireplace is two sided with one side in the den. It is a lovely touch of warmth and openness. On the other side of the fireplace is the hearth room, which also faces the dining room. The fireplace can provide light and warmth to both rooms also.

The living room is in the front of the home with windows front and back. The back windows are part of a three-season porch, enclosed and usable most all of the time. French doors off the dining room make this room easily accessible from the kitchen.

The kitchen is "C" shaped with a corner pantry and an eating bar. It is open and spacious, again bringing back memories of meals spent with family. Adjacent to the kitchen are the stairs to the unfinished 1,015 square foot basement and the stairs to the upper floor sleeping area.

The master suite occupies the front of this home. It has a spacious bathroom with dual sinks, a large shower, and a corner spa tub as well as a private stool area. Just behind the bathroom is an elongated walk-in closet. Walking beyond the closet is an unfinished storage room.

Each of the other two bedrooms has wall closets as well a large windows and built-in shelves. Adjacent to the master suite is the utility room with a folding counter and a bathroom with a tub. As bonus area along with the other unfinished storage area off the master suite is one near the utility room that is even large with 262 square feet of unfinished area.
