Richland may fit those odd-shaped lots

The Richland (D6787) is a versatile home in that it is narrow so it will fit those odd shaped lots; it is an excellent size to be either a first time homeowner's dream or the home for the empty nester. It has good eye appeal from the street with its clean lines, large windows, and a two-car garage that is set back and does not protrude too far beyond the rest of the home.

Crossing the covered porch, the entry to the Richland is a small alcove with a coat closet on the left. Straight forward is the great room and to the left are bedrooms. The great room has a large fireplace on the rear wall with a window on each side, overlooking the backyard. Sliding glass doors on the left side opening onto a covered porch in the rear.

A large dining area and the kitchen complete the large great room. The kitchen is in the right front corner. There is an "L" shaped counter with a pantry on the end along with an island containing dual sinks and an eating bar. It is open and facing the main great room. Stairs to an optional basement are across from the kitchen. The basement if finished could have 1,333 square feet of usable space.

The bedrooms are on each side of the home. On the left are two bedrooms with a full bath between. Bedroom two has a wall closet and two windows that bathe the room in natural light. Bedroom three has a corner walk-in closet and large windows overlooking the front yard. The full bath has a tub, single sink, and a linen closet.

Behind the two-car garage, sheltering it from the noise of the street is the master suite. The main suite area is in the rear and has coffered ceilings. Through the master bath with a single sink and a tub is an elongated walk-in closet. Three windows spaced around the suite provide great light for the room and spread out so placing furniture is easy.

Adjacent to the master suite and just off the kitchen is the utility room. A door in the hall shuts the room off from the rest of the home, whereas a door to the garage makes easy access for unloading groceries and packages.
