Simplicity of Kreindel makes it lovable

New homeowners and empty nesters will love the simplicity of the Kreindel (406-37). It is ideal for a lot that has depth but is very narrow. The design, although compact, uses great sound The Kreindel has 1,418 square feet of living space, ideally created for a growing family. The bedrooms are at the rear of the home. This is excellent when children are young and need the quiet to sleep. Bedroom two is a smaller room that would work well as a nursery. It has a large window for sunlight.

Bedroom three has been enlarged for the older child. It would also make an excellent room for empty nesters to use as an office/den because of the size. Both of these bedrooms have the excellent feature of being square with little unusable space.

One of the best features of this home is the master bedroom. It is large for the size of the home and still has its own bathroom and a good-sized walk-in closet, which is an excellent sound barrier between the rooms. As with the other bedrooms, the master bedroom is also square and has little wasted space. The master bath comes with a tub, single sink, and toilet, all separated from the main room by a pocket door.

The main bathroom is conveniently located off the living room and bedrooms. From a building cost viewpoint, the two bathrooms located together make it less costly to build and easier to construct.

The covered porch has a ranch style look and provides protection for the entry into the living room. The living room is vaulted. A large picture window illuminates the room and provides a focal point for the room.

On the side of the home is a vaulted kitchen and dining room. The main counter space for the kitchen is U-shaped with a large window over the sink. Above the cabinets, open to the vaulted ceiling, is a plant shelf.
