Split-level makes Jensen unique

The Jensen (500-25) is a very large home, ideal for the larger family. It has a two-car garage with one garage bay that could be used for a recreational vehicle. The combination of rock and siding, along with shingles for decoration enhances the eye appeal and makes a fascinating facade. The main area of the home is half way between the second floor and the garage. It is a unique split-level.

The main living area of the Jensen has 2,436 square feet. The entry has a foyer with a wall separating it and the living room. This room is open to the dining area and both rooms have a scissor vault. The living room has a corner fireplace with shelves on one side and an entertainment center on the other. The dining room has two doors that open onto a covered porch. There is a concrete walk and patio beyond.

The vaulted master suite and office is to the left of the living/dining rooms. The master suite is a dream. There are two windows and door in the back with a large shower and planter off the main suite. Large windows bathe the main suite with light from the left side. The whole area of the front of the suite is a master bath and a walk-in closet. The master suite has a vanity, a spa tub, a custom corner shower, and dual sinks. The walk-in closet is enormous with two dressers and a shoe area.

The kitchen is to the left of the dining room and is very open. In the center of this large room is an island with the range and oven. A large eating bar is on the exterior counter with a wet bar in one end. A TV has been mounted on the wall for the cooks who like to watch programs showing exotic food preparation. Behind a pocket door is a large wall pantry and two storage closets. Also a door the backyard is in this area.

The utility room opens off the pantry room with a sink, washer/dryer, built-in ironing board, and a broom closet. Another pocket door separates the utility room from a full bath with a shower and linen closet. This bathroom is adjacent to the vaulted TV room. Stairs to the garage and the second floor are to the right of this room.

Two bedrooms and a library/den occupy the second floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower, sink, and linen closet and a walk-in closet. The library is vaulted and has bookshelves as well as the staircase to the lower level.
