Open living makes Hunt spectacular

The five-sided Hunt (409-68) has a beautiful covered porch, accented with high windows, rock pillars, and rock at the base of the windows. A three-car garage facing the left side adds to the balance of the facade. Each wing from the main area flares out and is symmetrical.

Entry into the 2,648 square foot Hunt brings one to the huge expanse of open living. There is a center cabinet area that contains the pantry, refrigerator and counter space. The vaulted kitchen is along the wall of two of the five sides. There is a built-in desk, dishwasher, sinks, range and oven, and an eating bar. Inside is an island that has a vegetable sink.

Off the kitchen is the vaulted master suite. From the door off the kitchen, one walks along a hallway with a sink and vanity on one side and the master bath and walk-in closet on the other. Inside the vaulted master bath are another sink, a linen closet, a raised tub, and an oversized shower with a seat. French doors open off the hall area to main suite, while a set of sliding doors open onto the rear covered porch. A smaller wall closet is in the suite for additional clothes storage.

The dining and living rooms are both vaulted and open. There is a gas fireplace on the rear wall of the living room as well as an entertainment center tucked into one of the corners. On the left side of the living room is a large wet bar, complete with a refrigerator and sink.

The left wing of the Hunt has a vaulted office, two vaulted bedrooms, a full bath, and the utility room. The office is ideally located near the front door for an in-home business. Bedrooms two and three face the backyard and each have sliding doors opening onto the covered porch. The bathroom has a shower and a single sink. A linen closet is opposite between the two bedrooms. The utility room has a washer and dryer as well as a deep sink and storage area.

A door from the utility room opens into the large three-car garage. Stairs to the unfinished 2,618 square foot unfinished basement are on the rear wall of the garage.
