Greenridge 5 features compact, easy living

This is one of the many triplex units designed that has a compact look and excellent living space. The Greenridge 5 (407-57) units are all 1,010 square feet with a single car garage in the front. Their facade is clean and traditional in looks. Each has a covered walkway to the entry.

Unit 1 has the entry on the right side. To the left of the entry is a closet with the water heater tucked back out of view. The washer and dryer set on the back wall and door to the garage is between the utility and the closet.

The kitchen is C-shaped with an island containing the range and oven in the middle. It has a dishwasher, dual sinks, and an eating bar that faces the dining and living rooms.

While the dining and living room is one long room, there is ample space for the dining table and living room furniture. Sliding doors open onto the patio in the rear.

The right side of this unit has two bedrooms. The master suite is in the rear with a large window overlooking the backyard. The master bath has a single sink and a tub. Adjacent is the corner walk-in closet with a shelf in the corner.

Between bedroom two and the master suite is the main bathroom for the home. It has a single sink and a tub. Bedroom two has a wall closet and a large window that overlooks the front yard.

Unit 2 is exactly like Unit 1, only it is reversed so the dining and living rooms are together. Unit 3 is exactly like Unit 1.

These units are ideal for the smaller lots that available in today's market. They would make a great retirement investment as the owner could live in Unit 1 and rent the other two units out to pay for the mortgage payments. These units being so basic should also be economical to build.
