Eye-appealing Fairhaven could work for a narrow lot

The traditional farmhouse style of the Fairhaven (G34-901) has been made more interesting by the unique shape of the home itself. The front covered porch is molded around a large set of windows that are carried through to the second story. The home has great eye appeal with its many windows, shutters as accents, along with a curved porch, and would be an excellent choice for a narrow lot.

Crossing the porch, one enters this great home directly into a large open living room on one side and the coffered dining room on the other. The living room has a large fireplace in rear with door that opens out onto a large deck in the backyard. The dining room has the beautiful large windows that bathe the area with a lot of sunlight.

The center of the main floor has the stairs going up to the second floor and down to the unfinished 909 square foot basement. On the kitchen side, there is a pantry, cabinets, the refrigerator, and a storage closet. The main part of the kitchen is U-shaped with a window over the sink. The nook has a large window on the side and sliding doors to the back deck. Behind the nook is the utility room, which is adjacent to a half bath.

The two-car garage is convenient to the kitchen, making bringing in those groceries easier. A door to the side yard is in the rear of the garage.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms with two baths. Bedroom two and three each have wall closets. Bedroom two is uniquely shaped with the large windows in a protruding gable. Between the two bedrooms is a full bath with a tub. A linen closet is located in the hall.

The master suite is a wonderful size for allowing one to arrange the furniture in many different ways. The master bath has a large shower, a corner walk-in closet, and "his and her" sinks.

This particular home is such a great size. It has 909 square feet on the main and basement floors, and 854 square feet upstairs. It is a great first home and will fit the narrow lots perfectly.
