Features make Chateau look, feel spacious

A Colonial style porch, brick exterior with larger brick cornices make the facade of the Chateau (500-15) very attractive and eye-catching. Wood railings around the main porch and also on the service porch next to the three-car garage draws one's attention to the center of this spacious home. Windows lining the walls across the face of the home are also framed with larger brick.

Entering through double doors continues the feel of spaciousness and the Colonial style. The floor is tile and it extends into the kitchen/dining room as well as the family room. The living room, on the right, is open to the other rooms. To define and make it special, the living room is carpeted.

The family room has the stairs to the unfinished 3,288 square foot basement. At the end of the stairs is an optional entertainment center. Large windows off the rear of the family room overlook a raised patio. French doors between the kitchen and family room provides access to the patio.

The kitchen is "U" shaped with an optional island in the middle. Adjacent to the living room is the elongated walk-in pantry. All the bedrooms are on the left side of the home. Bedrooms two and three face the street, each with a window seat bay window, wall closets and a linen closet. Between the two is a shared bathroom with two more linen closets and a single sink. Behind a pocket door is the tub and toilet.

Across the hallway are a set of French doors that open into the master suite. It is large and open with three windows on the rear wall. The master bath is large and open. An oversized shower and toilet are separate from "his and her" sinks. Behind pocket doors is large walk-in closet. The bathroom is separated from the main suite by pillars and an arched doorway.
