1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (medium) onion, sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
Directions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain off fat. Add vegetables and soup. Mix to blend. Spoon into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Put the slices of onion on top. Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with biscuits, return to oven uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
Notes: If you are in a hurry cook the biscuits on a cookie sheet the same time the casserole is cooking.
