Oatmeal Pancakes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg










Directions: Combine flour, oats, wheat germ, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. Add buttermilk, milk, oil, and egg, mix well. Ladle by 1/4 cupfuls onto heated, greased griddle. Bake until golden brown on both sides, turning once. Yields 4 servings.

Notes: If you can add just a little oats and wheat germ to pancakes they will be more nutritious for your family. These are easy to make, even on busy mornings.
