Green Relish

Ingredients:
4 cups onions, ground
4 (1 medium head) cups (1 medium head) cabbage
4 cups cucumbers or green tomatoes, ground
12 green peppers, ground
6 red sweet peppers, ground
1/2 cup pickling salt
6 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoons celery seed
2 tablespoons mustard seed
4 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups water








Directions: Mix together onions, cabbage, cucumbers or green tomatoes, green peppers, sweet peppers and pickling salt, let stand overnight. Next morning, rinse and drain. Combine sugar, turmeric, celery seed, mustard seed, apple cider vinegar, and water. Pour over vegetables and heat to boiling. Simmer 3 minutes. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
