Sauerkraut Casserole

Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) can sauerkraut, undrained
1 (15 oz) can tomatoes
1/2 cup sugar
1 (medium) onion, diced
4 slices raw bacon
1/8 teaspoon pepper














Directions: Combine sauerkraut, tomatoes, sugar and onion, add pepper. Place in a 2 quart casserole, top with bacon. Bake at 325°F for 2 1/4 hours. If bacon gets too brown cover the last 30 minutes of baking.
