Honey Apple Pie

Ingredients:
9 inch pastry pie crust
1 cup honey
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 cups apples, peeled & sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter













Directions: Combine honey, flour cinnamon and salt. Spread half of this mixture over pastry crust; add apples. Sprinkle remainder of mixture over top of apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter. Add slitted top crust and seal edges. Bake in 425°F oven for 30 to 40 minutes. For added shine and color, brush crust with lightly with cream and dust with sugar.
