Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) bottle corn syrup
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
20 cups puffed wheat

Directions: In a saucepan, mix corn syrup, butter, sugar and cocoa. Cook over medium heat until thick. Add vanilla, stir. Mix in puffed wheat. Press into a 10x15 inch baking sheet. Makes 18 servings.
Notes: My mom is a wonderful cook and used to make these when I was very young. Now we sometimes make them for Christmas gatherings, for bridal showers or baby showers.
