1 (large) hen
9 ounces spaghetti
1 cube butter
3/4 cup flour
4 cups milk
1/2 pound American cheese
1/2 pound sharp Old English cheese
1 (large) onion
1 (large) green pepper
1 (small) can chopped ripe olives
1 (small) can mushroom stems and pieces
Directions: Boil hen until tender; drain and save broth. Remove from bones. Cook spaghetti in chicken broth. Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Cut up both types of cheese, onion and green pepper; add chopped ripe olives and mushrooms. Mix all ingredients together and put in a cake pan (I will usually put in 2 pans) cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Notes: This has been handed down from my husband's grandmother. It freezes well. Add a salad and bread and you have a wonderful meal.
