Swedish Rye Bread

Ingredients:
2 packages yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
3 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil
3 cups hot water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 cups rye flour
9 cups white flour










Directions: Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir in 1 teaspoon sugar. In large mixing bowl mix rye flour with sugar and salt. Add hot water gradually, mixing to a smooth paste. Add oil and honey, beat well. When mixture is lukewarm add the yeast mixture and flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until double in bulk. Makes 3 loaves of bread. Bake at 325°F until brown.
