Banana Surprise

1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tablespoon margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 bananas
1-1/4 cups chocolate graham crackers
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup sugar

Directions: Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 1-1/2 quart pan. Gradually stir in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil for 1 minute, add margarine and vanilla, let cool. Add to chocolate crust which has been made in pie pan or 9x13 inch cake dish. Slice bananas and add to pudding as you fill it. To make the crust, mix graham crackers, butter and sugar, press in dish. Top dessert with whipped topping and refrigerate.
