1-1/2 to 2 lbs. cooked meatballs, using your favorite meatball recipe, or deli-prepared ones
1 bottle chili sauce
1 bottle water
1 cup brown sugar
1 can whole cranberries
1 (15 oz.) can sauerkraut
Directions: Stir together the chile sauce, water, sugar, cranberries and sauerkraut. Pour over meatballs and bake in slow oven at 250°F for 1-1/2 hours.
Notes: Your guests will definitely ask for the recipe and they will be surprised when you tell them there is sauerkraut in the sauce.
