Angel Food Cake

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cake flour
12 egg whites (large egg whites)
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond
1 cup sugar












Directions: Beat egg white with salt until fluffy. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Add vanilla, almond, sugar, egg whites 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat. Sift 1/2 cup sugar with flour 3 times. Then add to egg mixture 1 tablespoon at a time. Put in angel food tube pan and put in cold oven at 350°F and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
