Country Cream Corn

1/2 package bacon
1 large onion
1 large green bell pepper
2 packages frozen sweet corn
6 tablespoons water
1/2 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions: Saute bacon with onions and green pepper until bacon is done and onions are soft. Mix saute, including bacon drippings, with all other ingredients in crock-pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring often.

Notes: Because we love fresh sweet corn and we raise pigs, this recipe is a great combination of our 2 favorite things. It is especially good in the summer with fresh vegetables.
