Hershey Cake

Ingredients:
8 (1.55 oz.) plain Hersheys candy bars
2 cups sugar
2 sticks margarine
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups flour
1/8 teaspoon soda
1 cup pecans (optional)










Directions: Melt candy. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and cream well after each. Add candy and vanilla. Add buttermilk and soda alternately with flour and salt. Do not overbeat. Bake in tube pan or loaf pans at 300°F for approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Notes: 1 cup of pecans may be added if desired. Cake is moist.
