Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
3 eggs, well beaten
pinch of salt
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1-1/2 cups pecans
9 inch unbaked pie shell












Directions: In medium bowl beat eggs, salt and brown sugar together. Add corn syrup and mix well. Add vanilla and butter and mix well. Stir in pecans. Either whole or chopped pecans can be used. Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400°F, then bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes until done.

Notes: I shield the edges of the pie with aluminum foil so it doesn't brown to much.
