1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
1 cup flour
3 (4 oz.) packages instant pudding
3 cups milk
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 small carton whipped topping
Directions: To make crust, boil water with butter and flour. Remove from heat, beat one egg at a time into flour mixture. Spread into lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes. Reduce to 350°F and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool while preparing filling. Beat softened cream cheese. Add milk and pudding mix. Spread over crust. Cover with whipped topping. Lightly drizzle with chocolate syrup. Any flavor pudding mix can be used.
Notes: The F.F.A. kids preferred chocolate pudding, but vanilla and banana taste good too.
Optional toppings - chopped nuts, marachino cherries, and any flavor ice cream topping.
