1 (large) head chopped cauliflower
1 (large) head chopped broccoli
1/2 lb. crisp bacon
1/4 to 1/2 chopped purple onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
Directions: Mix mayonnaise, sugar and apple cider vinegar. Toss cauliflower, broccoli, bacon, purple onion and cheese. Add dressing. Refrigerate 15 minutes before serving.
Notes: My family likes this salad as a main dish in the summer as it is cool and light.
