Glorified Rice

Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 pound marshmallows
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping















Directions: Prepare rice according to package directions. Add marshmallows and allow to melt. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add crushed pineapple and let cool. When cool fold in the whipped topping and refrigerate until well chilled, about 3 hours.

Notes: It is simple and easy to prepare. Can be used as a salad or dessert.

Reader's comments: From: Joan "Reminds me of what my grandma used to make. I doubled the rice, left out the sugar, and used yogurt instead of whipped topping. Perhaps healthier that way."
