1 lb. lean ground beef (not cooked)
4 (medium) potatoes
4 (medium) peeled carrots
1 (medium) sliced onion
salt and pepper (to taste)
heavy-duty aluminum foil (cut into 4 (12 inch) squares)
Directions: Divide ground beef into 4 equal sized patties. Place each patty onto center of each foil square. Season with salt and pepper. Place 1 slice of onion on each patty. Cut each potato in half, lengthwise, and place both halves on onion slice. Slice carrots and place on or around meat and potatoes. Fold foil over each dinner. Seal tightly and place into 350°F oven for 90 minutes. It is best to place packets on a baking sheet in case foil tears. Watch for steam when opening packets.
