Chicken Livers in Cider

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 lbs. chicken livers
1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons parsley
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup apple cider (juice)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)










Directions: Place mushrooms, onion and oil in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir in chicken livers, flour, parsley, ketchup, apple cider, pepper and salt. Microwave on medium-high (70%) for 20 to 25 minutes. Stir approximately every 5 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles or toast.
