Ingredients:
3 cups cooked rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 pound American cheese, sliced

Directions: Combine rice, tomato sauce, mushrooms, green pepper, onion and seasonings. Alternate layers of rice mixture and sliced cheese in a greased, 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
