Meatballs & Sauce for Spaghetti

Ingredients:
1/2 pound lean sausage
1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup white cracker crumbs
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, including juice
2 (11 oz.) cans tomato soup
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon minced dehydrated garlic
2 teaspoons minced dehydrated onions
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning



Directions: In large bowl, mix sausage, ground beef, egg, milk, cracker crumbs, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix with hands thoroughly. Shape into balls, brown and cook. In a large cooking pot, combine tomatoes, soup, sauce, garlic, onions, sugar and Italian seasoning. Add meatballs and simmer over very low heat for 30 minutes. Serve over spaghetti.

Notes: This is definitely an original, because I have been working on it for years.
