Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
4 teaspoons fresh diced onion
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
4 cups cracker crumbs

Directions: Mix ground beef, onion, parsley flakes, salt, chili powder, egg and 2 cups cracker crumbs. Divide mixture into egg-size balls. Sprinkle rest of crumbs on cutting board and roll balls into patties (steak size). Place on waxed paper and chill 30 minutes or longer. Fry on both sides in lard or cooking oil until brown.
Notes: This is a favorite of the family, as it tastes just like steak.
